Went out for mexican dinner today, mexican is sooooooo nice cant believe not as popular in england, there was 5 of us and we played credit card roulette for the bill which was like 110$ so i was praying i didnt lose lol, and i didnt :) woooo,

JP is leaving tomorow, but i sleep on a matress that he bought and ryan has his actual bed, it was like 800$ and he sed he wants to sell it, so i bought it for like 175$ which is real good and when i leave i will be able to sell it to other new guy for more than paid for it! if i didnt buy it the new guy would and then ide have a futon which is rubbish in comparison as this bed is soooo comfy and as i can sell it on it's obv a good deal!

Also i read bens blog which annoyed me as he apparently 'bored of 9 mans, once know ICM anyone can play perfect poker' well ben u downy u clearly have no clue u foolish donk there is more to it than that and i am offended! (lol only joking, hows nottingham cash games?)

Well i did really badly at the 24$ busted out of them sooo fast to bad beats, was down like 500$ in a hour or so and thought not gunna lose a ton on my first session so mixed them in with 10$ again rather than just 24$ and finished the day down a little bit which is ok,

Chip watched me today for a few hours which was good, now at my highest profit point, will just be playing 24$ from now on even if do bad and lose like 1K as thats normal i just dont like it, my target is to have 5K in account by sunday, so thats bout 1K to make this week, which is def achievable if get the volume in, maybe even more we will see!

Today the new maid's came and like cleaned everything, sooooo good, i have no idea why if you can afford a maid you wouldnt have one, just means u dont have to do all the stuff no one wants to do. JP is leaving tomorow to go live somewhere else so might be going out for dinner or something later, also a new person is coming to live here tonight, and also a swedish person is coming to live here tomorow, so lots going on!

Since my last post had mixed couple of days, did well day before yesterday up a few hundred, yesterday went well at the beginning and bad at the end and was only up like 50$ or something but stil not a loss so thats good! Joey came over and saw i was doing well at 45 man so sed did i want to learn 9 mans better, so we did some on those and broke even, on sunday he coming over and we just gunna play 9 mans for a few hours, so that will be good to mix in! Today im going to play a ton of 24$, im quite scared as not unusual to lose 40 buyins which at 24$ is obv a ton, but only way to get used to it and deal with it is to play a ton and not be too results orientated, and if lose 1.5K then just take it on the chin and keep playing, so we will see how it goes!

Well today was my best day yet! made 600$ profit :) I played a mix of 24$ and 10$ which is what i will do for while as a sort of transition to 24$, So obv really pleased with today and hopefully can continue tomorow, i should expect to lose some or break even i guess but we will see,

On other notes the dog 'wasque' absolutely loves socks, he just cant believe how good they are, his only love more than socks tho is gloves, so try to keep them out of sight or hes goes mad for them, plays for ages and ages just chucking it around and biting it lol, i think if put a sock inside a glove he would literally die with excitement! or maybe i will put a sock next to a glove to see if he just freezes and gets confused or flips out and tries to play with them both at once lol,

You cant wear socks around the house as he doesnt know the difference when you wearing them so just continually bites feet and trys to steal sock so like 5 of us all barefoot lol.

Today was super annoying too, just kept losing, nothing i could do atall, never mind! totally standard to go for 30 - 40 without a cash in these games just really frustrating, shouldnt be results orientated but its definately hard not to be! At the end i did win one so only 13 buy ins down when was 30, so thats a good finish to the day,

Tomorow chip having a session with me where i will be playing the 24$ games, horrible to think bout playing them when im losing a ton but at least with chip there i wont care if lose as i know playing best possible, so my next entry will either be really good or catastrophically bad lol,

Got 12 tables up at one point too which was good as usually do 12, i need to get a bigger monitor to get up to the 16 table target.

Reeses just advertised there easter eggs, looks soo good so will def get that, obv you cant get it there hahahahah

Well i tried to play alot today but didnt really happen, played this morning then had a break, played this afternoon then had a break, but couldnt be bothered tonight as just cudnt win any hands, down 100$ for the day so nothing major but still real annoying, Sundays is awesome cos so many bad players but in order to beat them you need to not lose when ahead continually, so sometimes i prefer more compenent players just making mistakes rather than complete idiots who cant even spell poker.

So will play tomorow and hope win some more,

Update for trip.... two weeks in up just under 2500$ which is obv a good weekly wage :) will definately be at the 24$ games by end of week as i have enough now just need to practice bit more.

Well today was interesting, i decided to grind the whole day and got in 50 45 mans which is loads, anyway i ran bad the entire day was down like 300$ just cudnt win a hand, then did well in last few and made 271$ profit for day :) even though thats awesome i should of won more, heads up i lost QQ to 99 all in pre for the win, the guy was so bad, i grinded him down to so i had a 3:1 lead then he sucked out all in, happened 4 times like that lol i would just steal all his chips then the final all in and lose, then back to where started!, and then i had Aj and he had AA so all in all he was the luckiest guy ever and made no difference what cards i had basically i was destined to lose!

Prob gunna go in the pool tomorow as it just been all cleaned and can set to a good temperature and chill during the day when it super hot! Went to Taco Bell today, i cant believe they dont have them in england, the nicest thing ever, like all mexican, so quesidallas, taco's, nachos etc etc and all super cheap, like literally 80cents for a wrap! by far best out of like burger king and stuff so im gunna bring taco bell to poole make millions mahahaha

As it's sunday tomorow obv the fishiest day of the week so hopefully can run like i ran at the end of today all day tomorow and make a ton :)

Had a bad evening which was annoying, only lost a little bit tho still up 257$ for the day so thats all good, final table 4 handed, i shove 44 get called by AK, i flop a 4 and he hits runner runner straight :( so annoying as would of been a profitable session for evening too! tomorow full tilt promotion starts and if do well have a chance to win some free money and also free gear like hats, tops etc so will be playing alot over weekend.

Yesterday didnt play any poker, we went to a small lake place as it was a really nice day and john had some friends down, i will upload some pictures later and post a link, it was really really nice blue water and like a little beach at the bottom of this long trail, but we saw a big snake, a water mocassin which apparently is super poisonous so we stayed away after a quick photo! Then we went to dinner in this 3 story restaurant by this other lake, never seen such a big restaurant it was ridiculous 3 huge floors of just tables, so that was all good shame didnt get to play any poker tho as we ran over our schedule!

Today tho played this morning, did real good made just over 300$ profit, gunna play again now i think so hopefully can do ok and not lose any which is always the worry after having a real good morning!

Played alot of games today, went horribly for like 80% of the time, made a ton of final tables and would lose KK to KQ etc etc, so kept like min cashing, but my last two games went well, came 1st in one which put me up 120$ for the day so thats all good, the other game tho, 7 people left 6 paid, i shove Q10s as the short stack got called by 108 and guess who won lol, which is soo annoying when 1 off the money to lose when 80$ to win! o well still up decent amount for the day, 135$ off of the amount needed to move up stakes, so hopefully tomorow will get there!

Had a really unusual sandwich today...Chicken, Pesto, Spinach, Tomato, Pine Nuts on like strange bread, was real nice tho! Tonight johns friends arrived so going to sit and have food and drink somewhere for a bit, need ID to get into so im using Joeys as he looks like me, but only prob is i dont sound like im from texas and im not 24, o well we see what happens hope i dont get deported lol,

Well we went out to get dinner but decided to go and sit down for a meal rather than grab something and head back to the house, so that was good for a change, and we played credit card roullete (we put our cards in a hat or something and ask waiter to pick one and that person pays for the bill), and i didnt lose so that was good to freeroll dinner! Got back about 10pm and didnt feel like playing, plus tomorow is st patricks day which means triple points on full tilt so will try to start at like midday and get in alot of games, maybe even hit my 500$ for the week tomorow....who knows!

Also John confessed to eating my cookies, but i knew it was him all along! and chip confessed to eating my crisps and bought me a sandwich in compensation (although my crisps were like 2$ and he bought me a 8$ sandwich lol) So ive moved all my sweets and chocolate out of the pantry and away from where they can be stolen into my room, but now they right here so basically eaten all my sweets which were spose to last two weeks in like 4 days lol.

Played for couple of hours this afternoon, nearly 200$ profit so that was nice, gunna go out and get some food and play again tonight, by wednesday hope to be up 500$ total for week then can play higher stakes games, so if can win a bit more tonight i be well on target to start higher stakes on wednesday or thurs which is obv best time to start
as nearing weekend! guy next to me averaging over 1000$ a day profit in last week, up 14K this month so far lol which is obv huge! Will update on how session goes tonight......

Played quite a bit today, ran really bad at the beginning and not great near the end but still make just over 150$, total profit now just over 1500$ for the week, so pretty good considering been running pretty bad last few days, i lost AJs to QJo heads up for 100$ which was really annoying too!

Played in the Full Tilt Double Deuce 200K guaranteed tourney with 10,000 people, came like 1000th lost a 50/50, still made a small profit on it and was something different to the usual games so all good,

So first week of proper playing gone well and still got lots to improve on and will be moving up stake next week hopefully, by end of next week should be at the 26$ games which is where need to be to clear the target of 10K a month :) which is obv amazing!

Might play some tonight but prob will just end the week happy knowing i beat my target by quite a lot and watch some tv or something.

After my horrible run yesterday this morning went real good, my hands would hold up and i was winning the crucial flips, up nearly 300$ today, gunna play again tonight probably and then obv alot tomorow as its sunday, hope to get to 1500$ total profit by tomorow night! i was gunna cook dinner tonight instead of a takeaway like usual but then they decided to get chinese so obv couldnt pass that up,

Well the day ended ok rele, at one point was nearly 40 buy ins without a cash, which is soooo frustrating, so was nearly 400$ down at one point, but then my hands started to hold up and won most of it back, only down bout 45$ for the day which is really good considering how bad i was running, cant make 200$ everyday at the 10$ games i guess! Hopefully tomorow i can turn a nice profit, it being saturday will help as loads of bad players around, hopefully can get to 1500$ profit total by end of sunday if dont hit a stupid bad luck streak again. Guy next to me moved up to the 70$ games today, he only played 10 and ran amazingly good and won 1500$ profit in 10 games lol!

Well this morning couldnt of gone anyworse, went 20 games without a single cash, lost AA all in pre at least 7 times, lost KK to 77 numerous times, then finally one table left, 7 people left, 6 paid i get KK all in against AK and lose, so just one of those mornings! hopefully will do well this afternoon, although at least know playing well as every single loss was a horrible bad beat,

This morning and afternoon went horribly, had AA cracked so many times and just kept losing with big hands, then i did well in the 90 mans, i came 2nd and 3rd so put me up like 170$ for the day :) so annoying though the one i came 3rd i was chip leader by loads, then had AA cracked all in pre, so lost half stack and then shoved Q9s and guy happened to have AK lol. and heads up in other one even stacks i get it all in with A10 he has KJ and rivers a K for well over 100$ which is really annoying as havent won a 90 man yet!

Tonight we going out to dinner as its one of the guys birthday, real funny all the other guys like do we have to go out im missing the pokerstars nightly 100k, full tilt 10K etc etc all for your bday lol. but they only joking as that be kinda harsh otherwise,

well today was kinda strange, didnt play any poker, was spose to go to joey's at like 3:30pm so by time got up and got ready was like 1:30, so not enought time to play, anyway guy who going with me kept delaying and taking ages, so we didnt even get to joeys til 6pm, but then watched him 24 table for like 2 hours which was real good to see how does it and learn a fair bit, then we went for dinner to this fairly posh restaurant where they had some wierd food, joey had black pepper ice cream, tasted very strange as not expecting that flavour from ice cream but kinda nice, anyway then joey paid for all of us which was real cool! got back at like 12:30 and couldnt be bothered to start playing then and everyone else had just finished there session too, so tomorow will try and get in alot of games to make up for today, joey thinks i should mix in some 27$ dollar games but im scared lol,

Ignore last post! still had 3 games up when wrote it but was short and not rele near money in any of them, but i won a couple of flips and took down a 45, now total profit 1060$, woooooooooo!!!!!! reached my sunday target on wednesday, unless of course have a big downswing lol,

Also i finally got to the grocery store today, bought soooooo much nice food to snack on as literally eaten nothing here except for like a subway for dinner (literally no breakfast or lunch then a sandwich lol), but now got cereal, toast, pasta, sweets, crisps all the good stuff! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Had a bit of a downswing tonight, just couldnt win any hands, o well never mind, bring my roi slightly nearer normal, total profit was 970$ now bout 900$ so only slightly down but annoying as nearly reached my 1K mark!, soon!! got a coaching session with joey tomorow at 4pm so that will be good,

I now a shark logo by my name on sharkscope if filter for last month which is pretty cool! i played this morning, made 150$ which was awesome, im nearly at 1K profit total, only like 30$ short of 1K, hopefully dont have a downswing this afternoon and get over 1K by end of the day, my target was 1K by end of week so should go way past hopefully!

Okay so had a good day today, again didnt play that much but i played all in a short time which is the best way, played 9 tables continuously loading new ones for a few hours, so gunna practice doing that to get real good then i just need to extend the time doing it as i get tired quick because not used to it and after a few hours need a break, anyway the bottom line.... now up to just over 800$ profit, so nearly payed months rent 5 days in lol, im on target for 4K profit this month and only playing 10$ games!

May play somemore tonight but might relax i prefer to play like 3pm - 9pm rele rather than late!

Had a bit of a downswing at then night and lost 100$ taking profit for day to around 150$, which is still above expectation at stake and games played so i guess it's all good but never nice to win loads then lose like half back! I kept final tabling then getting like 4th which is 40$ where 1st is 171$ so obv a big difference but i just keep losing races and people making wierd bad calls and sucking out, o well still up loads for day rele and tommorow is another day and another grind so hopefully win some more! wanna be up 1000$ total by end of week, seeing as 500$ up in 3 days of not playing that much should be a easy target but u never know!

Just played a bit more, in theory i should of lost a lot to average out roi, but i only lost like 30$, so still up 220$ for the day, i final tabled 4 of my games but just got card dead and have like AK run into KK stuff like that, dominos pizza delivery any minute now! hmmmmmmmmm

Then might play some more tonight :)

Sunday afternoon now, had a seriously good morning, final tabled like 4 out of 10 45 mans, made 250$ in bout two hours which was awesome, so total profit now 650$ in 80 tournaments, im sure a downswing will come soon and will lose a bit but still!

Gunna get some food now, might order a pizza mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm then play later,

So today is sunday, should be a big day hopefully, up about 400$ so far out of only 63 games so thats pretty huge, considering i should play 100 a day! and only at 10$ so playing like 30 10$ games a day and made that is awesome cos should be playing 100 20$ games in like a month or so, hope i can do good today and get to like 500$ total profit so far!

Today i had a few hours of coaching with Joey Michael (bigjoe2003) which was awesome, he was so friendly and obv amazing at poker, he also brought spicy sausages with him which was amazing! He sed the target is to 16 table the 45 mans, today i was 9 tabling, which was loads to me as usually do 5 or 6 so there was tons going on, so be real good to get used to! he takes a slight diff approach to others, slight diff bet sizes and opens bit wider, which i think is better, ran really bad all day but still made a small profit, and i lost heads up for 70$ with 66 to Q5 he rivered a Q which gave him a 2:1 chip lead then i had A7 and he had A8 which held up which sucked as board was 6QJK so anything higher than a 8 on river and split pot but a 3 came, typical! so i think up like 50$ or sumthing, should of been 120$ easily and again i only played like 30 games, so i guess if played 100 that would be like 300$ easy which is loads! and only at 10$ games so imagine that at 20$!

Not sure what will be doing tomorow, probably practice 9 tabling again and try to run good! also wanna find out where those sausages are from!

Today didnt do as well as yesterday, but averaged out to a more normal ROI so that is good i guess, tomorow will try to learn more and get in lots of games and see how i do!

Still get really tired early because of time difference so guess will be a few more days before can play til midnight without feeling like im about to fall asleep, only like 10pm now and im basically asleep, should try to stay awake til late but too comfy and sleeping seems like a good idea!

So all in all going well so far, need to learn alot more really before playing tons as doesnt make sense to play alot if making mistakes, so hopefully tomorow chip can watch alot of my games,

I didnt get much volume in today as wanted to take slow start to get used to the 45 man, I only played 14 10$ games, (a mix of 45 man non-turbo and 90 man turbo), still made 200$ profit, so that was good, and i ran pretty bad losing alot of AK to K2 on the bubble and KK to 109s sort of things,

Tommorow will play some more and watch them alot as i find just watching and thinking what i would do and seeing if they do it is a good way to learn, then i can just ask why they did that if do something different rather than asking what to do with everyhand i have,

So will keep updated on progress tommorow!

Customs.....

So i arrive in Houston, TX after a 10 hour flight and the imigration man decides i need further investigation, so i get sent to a room and waited for like 1.5 hours then had an interogation about why in US, they didnt like the fact that i was coming for 8 weeks, they just kept saying 'why so long', and they were like how much money have u got on you, so i was like in cash? and they sed yeah, hardly anything about 200$ i said, they were like how u planning on supporting yourself then, i said mastercard, they sed how much can u spend, i sed like 5000$, they were like for 8 weeks that sounds alot, and i was like well u asked how much, i dont have to spent it all do I!


Then they were like how can afford 8 weeks off work, i sed i finished school and to freelance graphic work so can take as long off as want, and they didnt seem to believe me on that,


Then they asked when did i last go to US i sed ages ago like 5 years or something to san francisco, then they asked how i new the friends i was staying with if hadnt been to texas before, and i sed internet which they didnt like either lol, so eventually they let me go after finding out nothing more than i told them in the first 5 mins,


So, after missing my first bus because customs thought I needed to be interrogated and hang around for like 2.5 hours I finally got my taxi to the bus station, then my 3 hour bus ride, in which the driver just made a unscheduled stop at macdonalds and sed im hungry anyone else want anything lol so the whole bus got off and went to macdonalds, so eventually arrived at the house, Its absolutely massive, will get some photos to show later,

Anway after travelling for nearly 24 hours I just had some food, watched tv for a little bit then went to bed,

So today hopefully will start learning and get playing tonight,


Gunna be playing the 20$ 45 man on full tilt, 10 tabling i think, (i might start at 10$ cos i dont think my bankroll can support 20$ just yet, but soon)


So that concludes my trip so far, will update on how first session goes!
