Well the trip has come to its conclusion, i am now in houston airport 2 hours away from flying home,

This morning was pretty rushed, i didnt really do to well at packing yesterday so was doing it at 6 this morning, then i get to the bus station at 7.50am, to catch my 8am bus and the guys like it leaves at 7:45am, so i shoved him my ticket and the timetable i have from internet and hes like i have no idea why its says 15mins later, so anyway the bus was leaving so had to run and get that, if i missed that would be serious problemssss,

Then at other end in downtown houston there tons of people offering to carry bags for change and stuff, and i had like 1 bag so i really didnt need help and he kept saying let me carryu it - its like errrrrrrrr no.

Then get to airport and on tanoy i hear 'may all passengers please be reminded that remarks and jokes referring to security will get you arrested' lol some idiot pretending has a bomb or something lol,

So i finished the overall poker trip on a good note, ive made a decent amount and now have the ability to earn the target monthly amount if i put the hours in, that is still my worst point but can easily work on that in england,

So to sum up....achieved everything wanted to on the trip and more, learnt tons, made money, met some really nice people and generally good time,

Looking forward to being home tho as was a long time!

Well this week has been really frustrating, just either losing or breaking even, losing when they have 3 outs (like AK to KQ all in pre) continually which is sooooo annoying, o well nothing can do, sure a day where i win all those will come soon, i am 1000 dollars down from my highest point, so would be great to get back there before i leave - so will try to get in lots of games and see how i do!

Ryan (housemate) put up a bet to win the full tilt leaderboard, i bet him 200$ that he would not win, he has 1000$ total action against him, it is def doable but you have to play like 10 hours everyday with no days off for the entire month, also his girlfriend is coming here for the last week of the month so he basically has to win it in 3 weeks which is very hard and therefore a good bet for me!

Not long at all to coming home now, i leave wednesday morning at like 8am :)

I advertised my monitor in the local listings and someone came and bought it yesterday with cash, so that was good as was such a hassle to bring it here, got to get coach, then taxi, then plane, then coach, and lugging a 24" monitor (who's box doesnt even have a handle) with two bags is just not worth it when i sold it for like 75$ less than i bought it for,

Going to see the new X-men film today then chip is coming over to watch, probably the last time he will watch i guess,

This post is specially for adrian as i hear he has been checking to see if i have posted and i keep letting him down!

Ok a summary of past week or two,

Was going really well beating the games without any real swings so was steady increase in profit.... until three days ago when the downswing started, just gone horribly bad few days, down 1500 in 3 days, which is fine if today goes well :) but if i lose again would be real bad. Joey moved his computer back here so he grinds during the day which helps me and rasmus (the new danish guy) to play alot as thats def our weakest point, the other day i played nearly 90 45 mans in one day which was real good as i usually play like 40, of course that was the day the downswing started and out of those 90 i cashed in 2 lol!

Chip came and watched me yesterday for quite a few hours which was good, i asked him if thought i was doing anything bad and he sed nothing at all its like watching him play, so that was good for motivation to know doing well and just need to keep playing, hopefully i will pull out of my downswing soon and end the trip on a high!

Also been going out with joey alot as hes over more and thats real good as something to do and get out of the house, he is real friendly so easy to talk to which is good.

We were out at lunch the other day and joey sed did i want to go and play some live cash, ive never done that so i was a bit apprenhensive but thought it would be real fun and as its a poker trip be good to do... anyway joey sed the blinds were 5$ 10$ so you buy in for 100 blinds usually so 1000$ buy in, at that point i was like no way man, i am not buying in 1000$ to something ive never done before, so then he was like just do it, only 1000$, it be fun, lol, i kept saying no and he sed i could buy in for 500$ and that be fine too, i still didnt want to so then he sed he would stake me for half, so i only had to put up 250$ which i was happy with, the game itself was real fun and the players where so bad, unfortunately i got my Aces cracked by joey's (dam you!) K9s for a 800$ pot and busted out! never mind was real good and i will def play some more live cash when back in england. Of course joey ran amazingly, in 4 hours he flopped 4 sets, had AA KK, flopped tons of 2 pairs and just crushed the table walking out with a 6.5K profit :) typical.

Today i will continue to try and get in lots of volume i hope i just dont lose a ton again, more than a 2K downswing would be real sick,

Didnt get a chance to play today as sorted a few things out, went out for dinner, ryan came back to house, then went in hot tub. Played roulette at dinner and i was in the last two cards standing but thankfully i didnt lose! Ryan sed did me and rasmus wanna do a prop bet, where for two weeks whoever gets in the most volume wins, we each put up 1000 dollars and winner gets it all, not based on profit at all just amount of games played, i thought about it for a while then decided not too, cos im not used to that amount of grinding like playing 12 hours a day everyday for two weeks there is no way i could do that with my experience and i will just burnout and get bored with the game, and obv dont wanna do that, and also with being coached i wont be able to play that much whilst being watched and i would prefer just to learn alot, slowly increase my games per day so i get used to grinding real hard then do a prop bet when im back in england or something.... as going from the amount i play now (which isnt anywhere near full grinding capabilities) to full hardcore two weeks isnt going to go well imo

Havent posted in the last few days as not much to report really, i was just running horrible, had a 1.5K downswing, just couldnt win anything, last two days been good tho and now out of downswing and up bout 800 for the week, so thats good, not as much as i hoped but still good considering how bad i did for first 4 days of week, so over 6K $ profit now since been here so thats awesome, and considering for first 3 - 4 weeks was playing lower stakes and not many games i should be able to hit my 10K a month target if i play aload when home, we wanted to go to this place called 'hamilton pools' which is like a little beach area with a really cool pool and rock area, but when we left the sun went in so we came back and will prob go next week, so will get some pictures of that when we go, not long now really till end of trip so will just keep playing as much as can and see how much i can make before coming home!

well today went horribly, by far worst day, i played like 50 45 mans and min cashed in like two lol, so down 700 :( that is like totally standard to expect 1500 dollar swings in these games but never nice to lose alot, gunna try and play a ton today and hopefully do well but have to be prepared to lose the same again maybe!

Yesterday i planned on playing from like 6pm onwards, i like sorted out stuff during day (boring chores) but then it got to like 6 and i felt really tired, so i played a little bit, ran really horribly and thought i would just watch others instead as they playing same games so always learn when watch them, today i havent played yet and prob wont as we went to the store and on the radio we heard new found glory and set your goals are playing tonight like right by where we are, so we decided to go to that, so will be leaving soon, so all in all failed miserably at poker in last two days, just bad timing with what have been doing, tomorow i will play a ton of games and try to gring hard for rest of week to hit 1.5K a week target!
